About Map to GPS
Map to GPS turns the line you draw on a map into a clean GPX file. Search for a place, then click along the road, trail, waterway, or field boundary you want to follow, and every point becomes part of one continuous track. There is no routing engine in the middle: the line follows your points exactly, so informal trails, race routes, and lines traced from a paper map all work. Drag any point to fix a bend, undo the last one, and watch the distance and elevation profile update while you draw. When the line is right, download a single GPX 1.1 track that opens on Garmin devices, watches, and phone apps. Plotting, editing, and file writing happen entirely in your browser, so your coordinates are never uploaded and no account is required.
