SolarLayout Desktop. A solar plant's design follows from the land boundary — where tables go, how many fit, where inverters and control rooms sit, cable routing, year-25 yield. EPC teams do this by hand in CAD over days, and redo much of it when the module or row spacing changes. From a KMZ this takes minutes: fills usable ground with tables while keeping water, roads, transmission corridors, steep terrain and obstructions clear; places inverters and control rooms; routes DC/AC/MV cable with lengths; sets lightning arresters on a coverage grid; estimates yield at P50/P75/P90. Exports A3 PDF report, single-line diagram, BOM, KMZ, layered DXF.

BESS Desktop. For storage the first question is size, not layout. Give it generation and contracted delivery; it runs a 15-minute dispatch simulation over a full year, builds a year-by-year financial model — IRR, NPV, cash flow — and exports a lender-ready report. It can also search for the solar/wind/battery mix itself.
