What is Domain Rating?
Domain Rating (DR) is Ahrefs' metric for measuring the strength of a website's backlink profile on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100. The higher your DR, the stronger your backlink profile is relative to the rest of the web.
It's calculated by looking at how many unique websites link to yours and how authoritative those sites are. A link from a DR 80 site contributes far more than a hundred links from DR 5 blogs. DR is also self-referential — the score adjusts as new sites are added to the web.
